InspirationDraft ("the App") is built on the foundation of privacy. We do not collect, transmit, or store your drafts, notes, or ideas on our servers. All draft content is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud — accessible only to you. We do not operate user accounts or any backend data service.
InspirationDraft includes an optional AI feature that you can activate by configuring your own Base URL, API Key, and model in the app's Settings. This feature is entirely user-initiated — you choose if, when, and which endpoint to use.
When you use an AI thinking method, rewrite, or other AI action with a configured endpoint, the app sends the following text to the Base URL you provided:
Only what you explicitly submit is sent. InspirationDraft does not intermediate, log, or retain these AI requests. The third-party provider you configure handles this data under their own privacy policy; you are responsible for reviewing and accepting their terms before configuring their endpoint.
InspirationDraft offers an optional on-device AI feature. After you download the Local AI model, all AI thinking and rewrite actions run entirely on your device — no internet connection is required for inference, and no draft content is sent to any server for AI processing.
The model download requires an internet connection, may be large, and is stored on your device until you remove it or delete the app. The download host or content delivery network may process standard network request information (such as IP address, request time, user agent, and file version) as needed to deliver the model and maintain security and reliability.
If you have iCloud Drive enabled, your drafts and version history are synced via Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to us. Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
InspirationDraft is currently sold as a paid upfront app. This version does not provide in-app purchases, auto-renewable subscriptions, or extra Pro unlocks. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.
We may receive anonymized crash reports and app usage telemetry directly through Apple if you have opted in to share analytics with developers via iOS Settings. We use this solely to fix bugs and improve performance. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
